2p!Italy x Reader The Light in My Darkness Part 3

     "(Name)? ♫(Naaaaame)?♫ Helloooo? Anyone home?"

     A waving hand right in front of your face broke the odd trance you were stuck in for the past few minutes. Your eyes blinked as your mind reeled back to the real world. You lifted your head, which originally sat on the palm of your hand, and shook yourself. Then, you refocused back on the person who was quite annoyed you were off in lala land again. Upon seeing (her/his) annoyed expression, you smiled sheepishly.

     "S-sorry (bf/n), I was just thinking..." You explained, though not intending to go any further than that.

     "(Name), that's the third time you've zoned out. What's wrong?" (Bf/n) looked you over with concern seeping into (his/her) voice. 

     You fumbled over your words to find an excuse but (bf/n) cut you off. "Don't even try to deny it, I know you better than you know yourself. So spill it." (He/She) narrowed (his/her) eyes at you and leaned forwards, making you lean back to maintain personal space.

     You started to mumble sad excuses but stopped, bowed your head, and sigh. "Okay (bf/n), you caught me. Yes I have been a little troubled as of lately-"

     "Oh I knew it!" Your friend exclaimed brightly, then froze and slapped (his/her) hand over (his/her) mouth. "Sorry, carry on." (His/Her) voice sounding muffled from under (his/her) hand.

     You rolling your eyes playfully at your friend's outburst. "As I was going to say, I've had some strange dreams recently and I have no idea what to do."

     (Bf/n) motioned you to explain further while stroking an imaginary beard. (His/Her) brow creased with thought. "Keep going..."

     You chuckled. "I keep having similar dreams, and there's always this guy in it..."

     "Ooooh, a guy!? A crush of yours?" (Bf/n) name cooed and smirked at you.

     Your cheeks flushed at the thought, well he is cute.... NO! Bad (Name)! "N-nooooo!!! Nothing like that!" You said, waving your arms as if it'd distract (him/her).

     "Mmmmmhmm." (Bf/n) hummed sarcastically. (He/She) crossed (his/her) arms and smirked smuggly at you.

     You bit your lip and looked away. "F-fine then. I won't tell you!" You crossed your arms and pouted. (You're acting like a tsundere XD)

     (Bf/n) instantly stopped and looked at you with the world famous puppy dog eyes.

     You raised an eyebrow at your friend's behavior, then (he/she) whimpered like a puppy.

     "Fine..." And you started to relay your dream to your friend.

     "The dreams always start as pitch black darkness.... And I only get a quick glimpse of this guy.... He has dark reddish-brown hair, reddish-magenta eyes with flecks of pink, and a strange curly strand of hair coming from the side of his head. And he's usually wearing a brown military uniform with a black collared shirt and tie underneath, a matching hat with purple feathers dangling off the side, black gloves, and some boots...... Oh and he usually has a knife." You looked up at your friend to watch (his/her) reaction.

     (Bf/n) sat there, frozen, with a blank poker face. (Like dis! XD)

     "(Bf/n)? Are you there? Earth to (bf/n), come in (bf/n)." You waved your hand in front of (his/her) blank stare but (he/she) didn't move. "I think I broke (him/her)... Oh well." You grabbed your lunch tray, dumped it, and walked off. (He'll/She'll) be back later, and maybe telling (him/her) wasn't such a good idea. You shrugged to yourself and continued on with the day.
